Package: pgpool2
Version: 4.1.4

Version 4.1.4 of pgpool2 contains a bug which prevents the counter of open
connection from being reduced when a query is cancelled. This is the fixing
commit in 4.1.5
https://git.postgresql.org/gitweb/?p=pgpool2.git;a=commitdiff;h=6d6e4cc3d7ce0cdfcf9b2b6ea3ac5dc04b366aec

The effect of this bug is that pgpool2 frequently reports "Sorry, too many
clients already" requiring a restart of the pgpool2 service to resolve this
issue.

Is there any plan to update the repository with new versions (last uploaded
is 4.1.4, but 4.2.2 is out)? I am encountering this problem on Ubuntu 20.04
LTS, however their package maintainers have suggested (
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pgpool2/+question/695908) I
file a report in the Debian bug tracker.
