Package: mgetty Version: 1.2.1-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream X-Debbugs-Cc: w...@cuadernoinformatica.com
Dear Maintainer, The maximum allowed speed of mgetty is 460800 bauds. There are some serial adapters that can reach higher speeds like 3 Mbauds. Other serial communication programs such as agetty or minicom allow up to 4 Mbauds. It would only be necessary to add the speeds between 460800 bauds and 4000000 bauds to the tio.c and gettydefs.c files. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.9 APT prefers stable APT policy: (900, 'stable'), (800, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable-updates') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-16-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages mgetty depends on: ii dpkg 1.19.7 ii install-info 6.5.0.dfsg.1-4+b1 ii libc6 2.31-11 ii logrotate 3.14.0-4 mgetty recommends no packages.
