Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
I installed gammastep on my Lenovo T61 to test it.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I used the gammastep-indicator program in the XFCE panel to examine the "Info"
from gammastep.
* What was the outcome of this action?
It reported incorrect information. E.g. location 0.0, 0,0. I am not in the
middle of the Atlantic ocean.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Correct information, as reported by "gammastep -p -v". E.g. lat and long of my
current location.
More information:
I cloned, built and installed the upstream latest and greatest from gitlab
(https://gitlab.com/chinstrap/gammastep). It ran successfully, and gammastep
reported correct information, but gammastep-indicator failed as above.
I do not see a similar issue on the upstream issue tracker
(https://gitlab.com/chinstrap/gammastep/-/issues?page=2&scope=all&state=all).
