Actually I think this is a critical bug because the vrrender application doesn't launch at all. So the package is useless without the fix.
The fix is still valid for the previous version, so I can propose you to revert everything I've done, and create a new patch version 20.2.0-2 to only fix the bug. Would that sound ok for you ? I could easily redo the update to 20.3 later after the release.
If yes, for the git repository, would you prefer that I rewrite the history with a push -f on all branches ? Or should I add revert commits on all three branches ? Or can I keep upstream and pristine tar as they are and only add a revert commit on the master branch ?
