I have no fundamental problems with including patches that are not in
stock squirrelmail, it's a quite common thing to do in Debian. Whether
it's a good idea in this case, I'm a bit undecided of yet. As Thijs
noted, an old compatibility plugin doesn't generally serve any use. But
if the patch is useful anyway, sure. Thijs is in a much better position
to decide on this, so I happily defer the decision on this to him.
