Dear Maintainer, New glibc 2.33 introduces new syscalls, which aren't allowed in debian's old docker.io version. Containers with glibc>=2.33 won't run anymore. Backport of this patch would be needed: https://github.com/moby/moby/pull/41353/files Thanks in advance, Oskar -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.13 APT prefers oldstable-updates APT policy: (500, 'oldstable-updates'), (500, 'oldstable'), (90, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-15-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages docker.io depends on: ii adduser 3.115 ii iptables 1.6.0+snapshot20161117-6 ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libdevmapper1.02.1 2:1.02.137-2 ii libltdl7 2.4.6-2 ii libnspr4 2:4.21-1 ii libnss3 2:3.45-1 ii libseccomp2 2.3.1-2.1+deb9u1 ii libsystemd0 232-25+deb9u12 ii lsb-base 9.20161125 ii runc 1.0.0~rc6+dfsg1-3 ii tini 0.18.0-1 Versions of packages docker.io recommends: ii ca-certificates 20200601~deb9u1 ii cgroupfs-mount 1.3 ii git 1:2.11.0-3+deb9u7 ii needrestart 3.4-5 ii xz-utils 5.2.2-1.2+b1 Versions of packages docker.io suggests: ii aufs-tools 1:4.1+20161219-1 pn btrfs-progs <none> ii debootstrap 1.0.89 pn docker-doc <none> ii e2fsprogs 1.43.4-2+deb9u2 pn rinse <none> ii xfsprogs 4.9.0+nmu1 pn zfs-fuse | zfsutils <none> -- no debconf information
