I think this should be a feature request for autopkgtest (which in fact
I already opened in 2018) rather than being specific to debci. See #906424
for an outline of a possible implementation.

If this is not just for gvfs, and libnfs also wants this, then I think
that's evidence that #906424 would be a useful restriction to add.
