Have you installed any XMMS plugins that might try to use aalib (libaa1)? Maybe it's useful to send us the listing of ~/.xmms/Plugins We also expect this error messages to occur only on bad situations, yet XMMS has this alarmist behaviour. I can't reproduce this error happening in my machines (rev -5, in Etch and Sid): 1) Run xmms -> no error messages 2) Purge aalib1, aalib1-dev 3) Run xmms -> no error messages -- José Parrella > en Debian Etch con Kernel 2.6.15.2 Escuela de Ingeniería Eléctrica - UCV Servicio Autónomo de Propiedad Intelectual GPG Key Fingerprint: 7C10 81B5 3C56 6C78 AC7D 3A2D 5160 2C8D 005C 3B82
