package: debian-edu-{config}
severity: {normal}
version: {buster,latest with all updates}

I've got Debian Edu (Debian 10) setup with a main server, a thin client and
a few users connecting successfully. I've also setup Thunderbird as per the
instructions here:
https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/Documentation/Buster/HowTo/Users#Using_email
but although I get the welcome e-mail, I cannot send. When I try to send, I
get the error: "The Kerberos/GSSAPI ticket was not accepted by the Outgoing
server (SMTP) postoffice.intern. Please check that you are logged in to the
Kerberos/GSSAPI realm. I've double checked my SMTP settings and they are
set as per the instructions and also refreshed by credentials, but I still
get the error. Could anyone point me in the right direction on how to
troubleshoot this further? (p.s. someone else I know has also independently
setup Debian Edu on other hardware and is experiencing the same issue).

I've included some screenshots below, showing the account settings and the
error when trying to send an email:

Kind regards
