Package: emacs Version: 1:27.1+1-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I recently updated emacs and consort to 27.1. On first `M-x rm' emacs (in an Xsession) complained about having no mailmove available. I googled mailmove to find it a part of (gnu) mailutils, which as a debian package provides mailmove (/usr/bin/). Aptitude doesn't seem be aware of or just doesn't care about this dependency. Brgds e. PS I suppose there aren't many people still using emacs as their MRT. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.9.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_AT@euro, LC_CTYPE=de_AT@euro (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages emacs depends on: ii emacs-lucid 1:27.1+1-3 emacs recommends no packages. emacs suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
