Hello Andreas, I lifted the systemd service file out of DOCUMENTATION.md. Now that you point it out, it would make sense for us to hard-code the Debian path to python3 in there. However, I didn't really try to change it, since I'd like to stay as close to upstream as possible.
As for upstreaming the changes: I assume that they had some good reason not to put it in a file by itself. I do not have any preexisting relationship with them, so I don't feel like rocking the boat to change things up. Best, Antonio Russo
