Package: libvirt-daemon-driver-storage-iscsi-direct Version: 6.9.0-3 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: markus.nash...@abroad.se
Dear Maintainer, I'm attempting to use the new iscsi-direct system on Debian sid. But I am not able to start the pools that I have defined. I am using FreeBSD for the ISCSI target system. virsh pool-start <pool> gives error: error: Failed to start pool <pool> error: internal error: Failed testunitready: SENSE KEY:UNIT_ATTENTION(6) ASCQ:POWER_ON_OCCURED(0x2901) The pool seems to work when using the regular libvirt-iscsi system. The problem only occurs when using iscsi-direct. I have followed the instructions given on the official libvirt website and believe my configuration is correct. virsh pool-dumpxml <pool>: <pool type='iscsi-direct'> <name>nasholm.xyz</name> <uuid>0c69baab-3108-4d38-ab1b-fc113f27cfb4</uuid> <capacity unit='bytes'>0</capacity> <allocation unit='bytes'>0</allocation> <available unit='bytes'>0</available> <source> <host name='10.220.1.10'/> <device path='iqn.2019-04.xyz.nasholm.storage:nasholm'/> <initiator> <iqn name='iqn.2019-04.xyz.nasholm.storage:bern1'/> </initiator> </source> </pool> Thank you for your attention -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_FIRMWARE_WORKAROUND Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libvirt-daemon-driver-storage-iscsi-direct depends on: ii libc6 2.31-9 ii libgcc-s1 10.2.1-6 ii libglib2.0-0 2.66.4-1 ii libiscsi7 1.19.0-3 ii libvirt-daemon 6.9.0-3 ii libvirt0 6.9.0-3 libvirt-daemon-driver-storage-iscsi-direct recommends no packages. libvirt-daemon-driver-storage-iscsi-direct suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
