Indeed, librsync is newer than the needed minimum version.
However it
still does not include the static library needed for dar-static.
Meaning I still can't include this functionality for dar. :(

I filed wishlist bug #980333 asking for this. The maintainer
sounds receptive and might get it going soon, so perhaps this can
be done in time for bullseye!
