Dear Maintainer(s), v4l-utils embeds sources from a very old version of libbpf, from before it split from the kernel. This version is mostly compatible with the public standalone release, minus a small change. It would be great to unvendorize it and use libbpf from the archive, now that it's available. A patch to this effect, build-tested only as I unfortunately do not possess any IR-capable hardware that runs Linux, as been pushed as a merge request on Salsa: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/libv4l/-/merge_requests/2 I will also forward the patch upstream.
