I think one thing possible is that, some packages' pb.go(which doesn't use grpc) can be regenerated by protoc-gen-go/1.25.0+git20201208.160c747-1, which will use golang-google-protobuf-dev/1.25.0+git20201208.160c747-1 only. The downside is only that we are ahead of most packages' upstream. But it doesn't hurt much. -- Shengjing Zhu
