Dear Maintainer,
I've just upgraded qemu-system and related packages, now I can't launch any
libvirt virtual machiness with the virtual machine manager frontend anymore.
It appears that this is caused by qemu no longer being build with support for
the qxl video mode, or at least not advertising it anymore.
When ran with spice qemu now also fails to load the
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qemu/ui-spice-core.so library due to unresolved
symbols `console_gl_check_format`.
This missing symbol is in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qemu/ui-opengl.so module
which is shipped in qemu-system-gui package. This is a bug indeed, this module
should be in qemu-system-common, but this bug is relatively easy to work around
(yes, installing this package pulls quite a few X11 libraries).
I'll fix it tomorrow.
BTW, why do you have installed whole qemu-system, are you using all of them?
