Hi, Yes I do know about experimental. I rarely ever use anything from it though so sometimes I forget to check it. I did check for rustc 1.48 and preferred to wait for the final copy rather than use the beta that was available, but with cargo, I just completely forgot to look (I was so not thinking clearly at the time of submission that I failed to even put the package and version info into the original report). Sorry about that. I've jumped onto the experimental cargo package and it's working just fine. Thanks!
I was not aware of the transition. Thanks again. I appreciate the effort you put into maintaining the packages. I rely on it. :D On Sat, 2020-12-05 at 13:15 +0000, Ximin Luo wrote: > Control: block -1 by 971571 > Control: tags -1 + pending > > Hi Lyndon > > Do you know about Debian experimental? cargo 0.47 has been in there > for a few months. > > We are waiting on the libgit2 transition before we can upload it to > unstable. > > https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=971571 > > X > > Lyndon Brown: > > Package: cargo > > Version: 0.43.1-4 > > > > Please can cargo be updated to v1.44 (0.46).
