In Debian 10 and older, the libgdk-pixbuf2.0-dev package contains development files for two libraries: gdk-pixbuf-2.0 and the deprecated gdk-pixbuf-xlib-2.0. In testing/unstable, it has been split into libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-dev and libgdk-pixbuf-xlib-2.0-dev packages, in preparation for a new upstream release of gdk-pixbuf-2.0 that moves gdk-pixbuf-xlib-2.0 into a separate source package. libgdk-pixbuf2.0-dev continues to exist, but is now a transitional package that pulls in the deprecated libgdk-pixbuf-xlib-2.0-dev in addition to libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-dev. It looks as though ukwm only requires the main gdk-pixbuf-2.0 library. Please update the -dev Depends so that it only pulls in that part, as in the attached patch. The form suggested in the attached patch is backwards-compatible with older Debian releases: libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-dev | libgdk-pixbuf2.0-dev but if this package is unlikely to be backported, you can simplify that to just the new package: libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-dev Thanks, smcv
