It was suggested to me on IRC that the severity of this could be serious because the build-dependency libidn2-0-dev is going to be removed from Debian. I'm volunteering to do NMU these packages to fix the bug, and could look into that in a couple of weeks -- if you give me permission to do it before, I'd start directly. If I'm mistaken that this is not a valid justification for a serious bug, downgrade the bug and let me know, as I'm not sure what the best way to get an obsolete deprecated transition package removed from Debian when build- deps remain. /Simon
