Package: ghc6 Version: 6.4.1-2.1 Severity: important ghc6 fails to build from source on m68k due to an ICE segfault. While this is clearly a gcc bug, it is fixed in gcc-4.1.
I'm willing to do a binNMU build of ghc6 with gcc-4.1 to ensure that works and to get us in sync. However, I want to make sure that's okay with you and that you don't have another upload planned any time soon (due to how long it takes to build on m68k). | ../../ghc/compiler/ghc-inplace -H16m -O -fglasgow-exts -cpp -Iinclude | -"#include" HsBase.h -funbox-strict-fields -ignore-package base -O | -Rghc-timing -fgenerics -fgenerics -c Data/Tuple.hs -o Data/Tuple.o | -ohi Data/Tuple.hi | /tmp/ghc27251.hc: In function 'srPk_ret': | /tmp/ghc27251.hc:21344: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault <http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=ghc6&ver=6.4.1-2&arch=m68k&stamp=1141631444&file=log&as=raw> Thanks, Stephen -- Stephen R.
