Followup-For: Bug #962993
X-Debbugs-Cc: keyikedalubend...@protonmail.ch

Dear Maintainer,

# Issue noticed after my computer slept a long time
After the screen blacks out (mine's a notebook computer) the system is
unusable on waking it. Can't switch window or close it or open Activities.
However, the top panel is usable. I had to logout and login back again.

# Issue noticed after my computer slept a short time
Broken UI seems to be fixed after the next break.
And then breaks again with subsequent breaks. I think it's alternating.
