Hello Christian, I have been packaging most of my software (xconvers, cwdaemon, xlog and xdx) as debian native. I have done this to make life a bit easier for myself, so I don't have to keep track of both package versions and debian-package versions. Also, I don't want to keep tar.gz files along with orig.tar.gz files, which are exactly the same.
