Package: tomboy Version: 0.3.5-1 Severity: serious Justification: Policy 4.8, "Main building script: debian/rules"
Tomboy's clean target gets in an infinite loop after building the package once, then trying to build it again. e.g., $ fakeroot apt-get -b source tomboy ... it builds ... $ fakeroot apt-get -b source tomboy ... it ./configures at least 6 times before I ^C, during clean ... ./configure fails with: checking for TOMBOY... configure: error: Package requirements (gtk-sharp gnome-sharp gconf-sharp) were not met. Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively you may set the TOMBOY_CFLAGS and TOMBOY_LIBS environment variables to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details. Though this is obviously not true, as I built the package once. Moreover, even if something is wrong with the Tomboy makefile, debian/rules should not get in an infinite loop. -- Joe Wreschnig <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
