I note that this means wireless-regdb will no longer be installed but
that is the location of the WiFi regulatory database and is still
needed in order for the Linux kernel to comply with WiFi regulations,
so I recommend that wireless-regdb be added to recommends in order to
replace the crda dependency on wireless-regdb.
Thanks Paul, I agree and by tomorrow I will do a new upload adding a
Recommends: wireless-regdb
I wonder if any QA tool or practice could have helped me to spot that
the package was missing an important indirect dependency. I normally do
a debdiff of new uploads with the previous version, but this doesn't
help with indirect dependencies.
