Package: linux-config-5.9 Version: 5.9.1-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
My Lenovo T14 AMD laptop does not show a selectable microphone device. lspci -v shows a device without a driver attached and I assume that to be the related hardware: 07:00.5 Multimedia controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD] Raven/Raven2/FireFlight/Renoir Audio Processor (rev 01) Subsystem: Lenovo Raven/Raven2/FireFlight/Renoir Audio Processor Flags: fast devsel, IRQ 255, IOMMU group 8 Memory at fd380000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [disabled] [size=256K] Capabilities: <access denied> arch linux shows that the following requirements are needed though I am not well educated in Linux to know if this does apply: "On the AMD version, the internal microphone requires a kernel version of at least 5.8-rc7 with CONFIG_SND_SOC_AMD_RENOIR=m and CONFIG_SND_SOC_AMD_RENOIR_MACH=m. 4-pin jack plugs work with a linux kernel of 5.7."
