Thanks for investigating this issue and sending a fix. The commit is applied to upstream repository: https://kernel.ubuntu.com/git/cking/stress-ng.git/commit/?id=7cfebad15ff977813662cf1ea04d3e96b6cb7236 I'll get a new version of stress-ng uploaded in the next few days once I've got it past all the regression tests.
