Package: iptotal Version: 0.3.3-6 Severity: minor iptotal prints things like this:
Total: 12.48 kBytes/s In: 12.48 Kbytes/s Out: 0.00 Kbytes/s Notice some places it's "kBytes", others it's "Kbytes". This should at the very least be consistant. Technically, they are both wrong. The following are all correct according to normal SI rules: * kilobytes * kbytes * kB But, "kBytes" would be fine too, because: 1) It matches the generated CHARTS which use "kByte". 2) It uses the correct SI prefix symbol for kilo: lowercase 'k'. 3) The symbol for bytes is 'B', thus kBytes is understandable enough. Anyway, the bottom line is, please fix this to be CONSISTANT. It would be an added bonus if it was also CORRECT. =) -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages iptotal depends on: ii apache2-mpm-worker [httpd] 2.0.54-5 high speed threaded model for Apac ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libpcap0.7 0.7.2-7 System interface for user-level pa ii rrdtool 1.0.49-1 Time-series data storage and displ ii tcpdump 3.8.3-5sarge1 A powerful tool for network monito -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
