Hi, In 1.24 org.mate.SettingsDaemon.DateTimeMechanism.conf has been moved from /etc to /usr/share [1] (if using the default configure setting). I guess you’ll have to add debian/maintscript to actually remove it from /etc on the next package upgrade...
