Any news about this bug? The new 1.5.3.4870-4 package moved libib_util.so in /usr/lib/firebird2/lib. This may help with your problem. PLease give it a try. If the problem persists, please send me the compiled UDF - I want to see what it is linked to. Meanwhile, I am lowering the severity of the bug, since there is no problem with the pre-supplied UDFs.
