Package: kernel-package
Version: 10.040
Severity: normal

After succefully compiled a custom kernel with make-kpkg, the package doesn't
seem to create the corresponding initrd
image.
-yaboot.conf is correctly updated
-ybin is correctly executed
but /boot/initrd-2.6.15-custom.img and /boot/initrd.img symlink aren't created.
So the box can't boot on the new kernel.

If I manually do this :
# update-initramfs -k 2.6.15-custom -c
# cd /boot
# ln -s 2.6.15-custom initrd.img

it works OK

I think this should be added to post-installation script in the generated .deb
package...
