I've done some deeper investigation and it seems xorg crash bug was actually resolved by upgrading xserver-xorg 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4 -> 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 (which I forget about...). Nontheless option "OldDma..." is still essential for direct rendering work. For the best quality of 3D graphic use "PciRetry on" and "AGPMode 1" (it really matters). The last thing is transluency works stable (but is too slow for my system - PIII 1GHz).
Xargos PS. The strange artefacts in 3D graphic I observed are only in foobillard. Chromium and tuxracer (penguin-recer) are ok. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
