I found a solution for this bug. You have to add these two lines to the xorg.conf file (to section Device). Option "PciRetry" "on" Option "OldDmaInit" "true" The first one eliminates xorg crash (blank screen). The second one is essential for direct rendering to work (without this option there are some problems with DMA buffers). The good news is since now glx (OpenGL) works :). The bad news is when I tested it with foobilard there were some strange artefacts...
