The Cheese 3.34 package in https://launchpad.net/~dtl131/+archive/ubuntu/mediahacks2/+packages does not work in Debian Buster due to missing dependencies (it will work in Bullseye or Sid).
I took the source of Cheese 3.31 from Debian 10, and rebuilt it after applying the patch in the PPA https://launchpad.net/~apandada1/+archive/ubuntu/cheese-headerbar-buster/+packages . I can confirm that it works in Ubuntu 18.04. Since it is the same version, it should work in Buster.
