It does:

tglase@tglase:~ $ tar xaf 925358.txz # attachment from Message #47
tglase@tglase:~ $ cd 925358
tglase@tglase:~/925358 $ ll bin/
total 992
-rwxr-xr-x 1 tglase tglase 1014688 25. Okt 2019 mksh*
tglase@tglase:~/925358 $ file bin/mksh
bin/mksh: ELF 32-bit MSB executable, Motorola m68k, 68020, version 1 (SYSV),
statically linked, BuildID[sha1]=e648be88d597dadd2481ab324cd673fe961ceac4, with
debug_info, not stripped
tglase@tglase:~/925358 $ bin/mksh -c '/bin/echo foo; echo bar'
foo
_

Here it hangs.

While my host is x32, I have qemu-user-static:i386 installed,
so this is reproducible on release architectures.
