Since this is a bugtracker and "New release available" is not a bug, I have taken the liberty of reading your mind regarding what you consider a bug in the Debian packaging of pandoc. If I failed at that (mind-reading is kinda brittle, especially from afar), then please do elaborate what was on your mind. :-) Also, I lowered severity since RevealJS is not in Debian (please consider filing a so-called RFP: see https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/#l1 for details on how to that).
