I didn't see Gunnar's patch before, oops. Yet I think it's best not to hard-code lib64 as it would not make any sense on a 32bits system. I'm not sure using dpkg-architecture like I did is the best solution, but it was easy and works fine -- and in the context of a Debian patch, I'm not worried about using that tool.
