Dear release team, I would like to request a transition slot for cfitsio, changing the library name from libcfitsio8 to libcfitsio9. The version 3.480 introducing the ABI change has been in experimental for a few months. I have just uploaded version 3.490 which is a mostly a bug fixes release without new features.
