Upstream as tagged a new release 1.8.19: https://github.com/doxygen/doxygen/releases/tag/Release_1_8_19 The reason I am mentionning it is that I have a crashing bug with both 1.8.17 and 1.8.18 that leads the package unusuable by our CI. There are commits fixing them in the upstream repository and when I tried with master the issue seems to have been resolved. Hence it would be very nice to have 1.8.19 tar imported and aim at updating testing to 1.8.19. I have the issue either with your version from testing or a backport from testing to Buster. Indicating it is an issue with Doxygen itself.
