Package: zd1211-source
Version: 0.0.0.svnr67-2
Followup-For: Bug #356190

Hi,

Since 2.6.16 is out since a while now, and since it seems to be
impossible to build the "working" r23 against that kernel version, I
gave the latest version another try, but so far there's no improvement.

What I did notice, however, is the following: when I load the r67
driver and manually set an IP address, it does seem to work to some
level; i.e., I can use a sniffer (tcpdump, ethereal, similar things) to
see what is going through the network (not just packets sent out by my
system; also replies to those packets, and even broadcasts from other
hosts that my system did not request); also, ARP does seem to work,
since after pinging a random (existing) host on the network,
'/usr/sbin/arp' does list that host.

However, anything in the networking layer seems to be broken.

If it would be needed, I can probably provide a file from some sniffer
software.
