By all means, if you don’t like or need resolvconf, don’t install or use it. I 
don’t think systemd-resolvd replaces resolvconf, so I still see a use case for 
it; more than that, systemd-resolvd is not mandatory to use even if you use 
systemd.

There’s nothing more to be done on this issue.
