Get the amavisd-new source package. It has a tarball (or directory) in it with a few viruses you can send yourself to test your system. This cannot (or will not, pick one ;-) ) be binary-packaged, so you have to get it from the source package. The error you quoted was reported by clamav itself. I do not know why lstat() failed, it could be anything from permission errors (should not happen if you configured your system correctly and it is scanning some of the emails) to amavisd-new removing stuff behind clamav's feet, to clamav bugs. You will need to run amavisd with full debug logging enabled and give me more info when the error shows up if I am to track this down, I am afraid. The amavisd-new documentation explains how to enable debugging, it is in /usr/share/doc/amavisd-new. -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them.
