Package: mdcfg Severity: normal Tags: d-i Degraded raid 1 is already supported, and I think it would be good to also support creation of raid 5 arrays in degraded mode. I think this because I just installed to a system that had two disks available, with the third currently being RMAed. I really wanted to use raid 5 this time, and yet to do so I ended up having to temporarily put two 30 gb raid partitions on one of the two disks. Degraded mode with 2 or 3 devices available would be much nicer, and should be pretty easy to add support for.
