Package: security.debian.org
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation? i was trying to save a file into to a system
directory by using browser option available when right-clicking 'Raw' on a
Github page called 'save link as'. The desired directory was ect/udev/rules.d/.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)? i tried to save and wasn't allowed by a popup wich was
titled 'invalid save permissions'.
   * What was the outcome of this action? the popup forced me to sake OK. So
ended my attempt to do this a step included in setting up YubiKey
authenticator.
   * What outcome did you expect instead? To save the file in the directory
since I am the root user! I also have this issue in terminal, when i put in a
command that can't run without a password, it tells me im not a root user or
something. There is only one user choice set up on the PC.
