Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
mate-panel has memory leak, every few minutes it eats 1 mb of memory after few
days it becoming a monster size of gagabytes.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Normal usage, I'm using mate netspeed applet, mate sensors applet and system
tray. Nothing unusual. Simple tests shows:
axet@m3n:~$ while true; do date; memof $(pidof mate-panel); sleep 300; done
