Hello, okay I added myself to the users group and now it works. Because of the getting informed. I issued "apt-get install --reinstall tex-common" and got nothing which said that I can expect problems. In /usr/share/doc/tex-common/README.Debian is this explicitly written down, but some message from postinst or a mail to the system account would be better.
