Package: wpasupplicant
Version: 2:2.7+git20190128+0c1e29f-6+deb10u2
Severity: minor
Dear Maintainer,
I was trying to make use of the control interface of wpasupplicant, but
found out that it was not created. The service is running and no default
options (or configurations have been changed), but the sockets in
/var/run/wpa_supplicant are not created in Debian 10 (buster). The
sockets are created correctly in Debian 9 (oldstable) and found that
Debian 11 creates the sockets as well.
This bug doesn't break any functionality, because looks like
NetworkManager uses dbus interface. But, I was expecting the control
interface to be available as unix socket.
Thanks.
