Another alternative: Recommends: keepassxc | gnome-keyring | kwalletmanager Suggests: seahorse As far as I know, seahorse is only a GUI frontend, but it's not strictly needed. It's a dependency of the `gnome` metapackage, but it's not a dependency of `gnome-core`, and it was not installed on my system (at the time I installed Debian stretch with GNOME environment, a few years ago). Instead it's really the GNOME keyring that stores the credentials, and that needs to be installed. But surely GNOME maintainers have a more informed opininon on that. Thanks, Arnaud
