Another alternative:

  Recommends: keepassxc | gnome-keyring | kwalletmanager
  Suggests: seahorse

As far as I know, seahorse is only a GUI frontend, but it's not strictly
needed. It's a dependency of the `gnome` metapackage, but it's not a dependency
of `gnome-core`, and it was not installed on my system (at the time I installed
Debian stretch with GNOME environment, a few years ago).

Instead it's really the GNOME keyring that stores the credentials, and
that needs to be installed.

But surely GNOME maintainers have a more informed opininon on that.

Thanks,

  Arnaud
