I have just forked QGIS on GitHub and created a sip5 branch in my fork, partially based on what I have done for krita: https://github.com/mitya57/QGIS/commits/sip5 This is completely untested so far, I will try to test/finalize it in the next days, and then create a pull request upstream. -- Dmitry Shachnev
