Thanks guys - have I understood correctly that upstream current Git fixes it properly? I have tested some with latest upstream git, and to me it seems it does, but I would like confirmation that it fixes it for you too - I am a bit hesitant in packaging a Git snapshot, but if that is what it takes to fix the bug, then so be it.
