Dear maintainer, Please consider updating libmirisdr to v1.1.2 of libmirisdr-4: libmirisdr-4 is the closest thing to a currently-maintained libmirisdr variant, and switching to it seems consistent given that “libmirisdr-2” is the current content of the package, as far as I could tell. I already did the necessary packaging work, and created a packaging repository under the hamradio team on salsa: https://salsa.debian.org/debian-hamradio-team/libmirisdr/ I tested rebuilding its reverse-dependencies, and gr-osmosdr and soapyosm will need to be patched in order to deal with an API change: `mirisdr_open(3)` now takes an additional argument, to specify the expected hardware family. This should be a straightforward change, and presumably upstreamable. Given that this package has been unmaintained since 2016, in the absence of a reply this month, I will NMU and look into adopting it under the ham team.
